Anyone have any success with a BTEC ONC in computer studies as being suitable for ACS assessment (groups A or B) ??

As far as I know an ONC is not equivalent to an Australian diploma. You'd need professional advice to be sure.

Have you thought about upgrading?

I have just sent mine and yes I have heard of someone getting a positive assessment on this. I have a Foundation Degree as well so I qualify with this but there is a website I fond on something on here the link is

Tells you something about it and it is not far off, ask the Vetassess for advice although they cannot advise you on your certs they can give you advice on where to find the advice if you know what I mean. It has just taken me months to put mine in. Otherwise take another year make it into a HNC then you will probably get a positive assessment on a 40 occupation.

My occupation though as an analyst/applications programmer is a 60 point occupation.

Yep know all about that one but if you don't have the certs then it is hard to RPL you. Used to be a programmer.
Had to take a course in Hairdresssing lol know what I mean

IIRC, ONC ain't counted as Group B. If it's 60 points from an IT occupation that the original poster wants, it's going to have to be RPL.
