British Passport runs out Aug 2010 and about apply for PR
Im about to apply for my PR in 2 weeks time from spouse subclass 820 visa and i have just realised my British passport expires August 2010. Will this cause any problems in applying for my PR? I was thinking maybe u need to have so long left on it before applying.
Does anybody know if i would be able to apply to renew my british passport in Australia now and how long it would take to get it,where to apply, costs etc?

I don't disagree with the others, you will be fine. But personally I would use this next two weeks to get a new passport so I don't have the bother of changing it later.

You can renew a passport up to 11 months prior to it expiring, those months are added to your new one. May be worth doing before applying just so it's done depending on what your finances are like.
