Hello Lou and Jon - just turned the computer on after a few days and was shocked to see that someone else was going to Brisbane from Bournemouth in September!!

Have you sold your house? Ours is on the market at the moment and as long as we can sell it quickly we certainly hope to be gone by September.

Have you booked flights as yet or had the removers round?

We have a little girl Emma who is 3 1/2 years how old are your children?

We chose Brisbane because my husband Kevin visited Oz for a year on a working holiday a few years back and particuarly liked Brisbane. We've been looking at Cleveland/Wellington Point areas, houses on the internet but really until you get there you just don't know. The sort of place we could buy looks amazing - your 4 bed house with a pool. Though the exchange rate isn't doing us any favours at the moment.

Would love to chat more/meet up - send me a private e-mail and perhaps we could sort something out.

Look forward to hearing from you

Tracey Kevin & Emma

Hi Kevin and Tracey and Emma,

We have lived in Wellington Point for two and a half years now after
shifting from NZ. This area is fantastic for families and lifestyle. Some of
SE Qld's best beaches are just a ferry trip away from Cleveland, out at
North Stradbroke Island.

I am a real estate saleperson specialising in the Wellington Point and
Birkdale areas, see:
www.ljhooker.com.au/birkdale

For leisure activities in the area check out:
http://www.redlandstourism.com/

Great schools, for example:
http://www.redlands.qld.edu.au
http://www.ormiston.qld.edu.au

Hope these are of some help,
John

Thanks for this. We are researching the Wellington Point area and are interested in any info that we can get hold of for that area and Redland Bay, Cleveland etc. I have been in contact with Rosy who has been great with her time and advice - thanks again Rosy.
We have been searching the net for land/house packages and I think have certainly decided that we will initially be heading for this part of Qld hopefully in November.
Glad to hear it confirmed that we are on the right lines.
Anything else gratefully received.

Hampshire meet 6th July
Hi all
Just wanted to confirm details of the Hampshire. This website gives a review and address details.
http://www.ladieswholunch-in-hampsh...raggedstaff.htm

So its the afternoon of Sunday 6th July 1.30pm onwards (no set time)

Just need to re confirm numbers so if those that are going can vote on this poll that would be great.

See you all soon
Tori
