Books or movies about Australia.
Hello, I'll never be able to move to wonderful Australia, so can you
good people recommend some books or videos about Australia? Right now
I'm reading "Australia, A BIOGRAPHY OF A NATION. Which seems to be an
excellent book. I also saw the mini series "A town called Alice' years
ago which I enjoyed very much. So anything you can recommend would be
appreciated, Thanky,,,,,,, J

Try the series called 'The Australians' some 16 novels. Semi fiction but founded well on history By Vivian Stuart (or sometimes shown as Stuart Vivian)

Hey Jeff:
I think you are the same person I responded to before, in which you stated
you did not like the USA and wanted to move to Oz?
Well, that's fine that you want to move, and it is unfortunate that you
can't, but what about a vacation to Australia?
Read up on it first of course, but if you love Oz so much, why not go
explore it for yourself on vacation? I would think that would be the next
best thing to living there, if that is your goal.

Try "Dosser and Joe" for a good laugh. BBC comedy written by Caroline Aherne. Not sure how to get hold of it though. Has Madge from Neighbours in it.
