Bonus points for the Language factor
I am afraid that I have a problem.
My situation: in the application form (paragraph 56) I have marked that I pretend for bonus points. Additionally in the cover letter I wrote that I pretend for bonus points because of my native Russian and the certificate of degree proves it. I sent my documents on November 06, 2002 but I used the old (from July 2002) version of the 47SK form there the current paragraph 57 (kind of bonus points) didn't exist. I sent degree certificate and degree supplement which is academic transcript. I didn't send the letter from the University stating that language the course was conducted because I wasn't informed in the old version of booklet that I have to. According the information in the booklet additional information can be provided (in writing) at any time until the decision is made on your application. But as I know a decision can be made at any time and I am very worried that I might be refused before I send the letter from the University. Please tell me if such a situation is possible (refuse because of lack of the letter without any informing me)? Or ASPC must ask me to provide the letter? |
I don't think you need to worry because they usually give the applicant a chance to provide the necessery documents before they make the decision.
You say you have applied in november '02. If you are not a nurse or sponsored by the state your applicatinon won't be looked at soon. They are now looking at the applications sent in may/april 2002 so I think the best thing you can do is send the additional information using your reference number given in the letter from Adelaide. Good luck, Nina |
Re: Bonus points for the Language factor
Dear Nina,
thank you for the answer, but as I know not only the decision maker looks at the application in the end of the process. Other agents look through it and check everything to be sure that you answer the primary criteria and so on. They can check the application in 2-3 months after you apply and regect you ;-( Ksenia |
