Bio Page Scan for Spouse Visa

I need to apply paper based application for my spouse. Please tell if I need to get the bio page of passport attested? Is the attestation necessary or I can also send color copy of passport page without notarization?

You need to send a certified copy. See section 7 of the Partner Booklet
