I posted mine by recorded delivery with the Royal Mail - a bit of a con as they only track it until it leaves the UK. However,it got there ok and only took 4 or 5 days.
I think they also do a swiftair package that is tracked all the way.

The big advantage of courier services, is that you get a proof of
delivery that you can use if Adelaide, ACS etc say they 'have no
record of receiving ... '
Of course the contents of your envelope can still get lost in the
building after delivery.

I think any courier service that allows you to track the package and get a receipt of its delivery will do. We called all the companies (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and used the cheapest one, that turned out to be the local mail. Arrived there in 5 days.

We used Royal Mail swift air - cost about £5.00. We asked for an 'advice upon receipt' (extra 40 p) which basically means confirmation that the sender has received the item.

We used parcel force.
Costs about 40 quid, you can track it all the way to delivery agent, and have a tracking number for the web.
If they dont deliver you get cash back.

Meds are posted by Doctors directly. Ours just got a stamp and were fine. I guess go with what makes you more comfortable.

Re: Best way to send completed application form
Hi FC,
I have decided to send mine by DHL/UPS, as I sent my ACS application
by Royal Mail Track and Trace (Int. signed for). It was tracked to the
airport....
That was on the 19th March and I've not had any response that it got
there from Royal Mail (even though I got the acknowledgement from
ACS).
UPSing it will cost about £40 but you are sending the most important
document in your life to the furthest part of the planet! I will be
worth it for the stress levels if nothing else.
Karen.
