when we went for the medicals I brought with me the report form Dr Baz and a detailed report form my renal physician, the panel Doctor did'nt seem to know much about my condition (membranous nephritis) and was happy that I had the reports with me. Had the usual Medical which was all ok and was told if there was a problem the panel Doctor would get in touch the following week.
The only communication I had had from the panel Doctor was to tell me the meds were sent to DIMIA the following week.
Thats not to say that DIMIA will not request further info? my agent is not that good at discussing what might happen/not happen.
Still I'm soon to get a case officer and will finally know what my position is.
When that happens i'll keep you updated, (really I will ).
Once again sorry for taking so long to update.

Hi Caroline,

Hope your all well, just to update you, our visa was granted on thursday 19th September , we can't belive its happened so quick.
No questions were asked at all by the co, it went strait to Grant!
All the worrying over my kidney condition for nothing, so we hope to be in Adelaide by Christmas, lot's to do and worry about now.
Have you applied for your pr yet and how's it going, keep us updated, all the best.

Hi Paul,Caroline and Henry

Congratulations on obtaining your visa!!!!!so glad it went well!
I would start packing your summer clothes now as its getting warm here!!!!

top tip get ya extra summer clothes and bring them with you as not a wide selection here!and cheaper!!

other top tip!try to start getting used to coversion rates for dollars sooner rather than later or you end up spending a fortune!!!!!!!!!!

Hope all goes well and good luck
