Anyone know what the exchange rate is today and the best way to change pounds into dollars ? ( also the safest way )

The exchange rate is about one pound to 2.5 dollars. I do not know the safest way to change money but trying going to this website (https://www.xe.com/fx/) as they have a very good rate of exchange. It is a bit of a hassle signing up, but you will not find a better rate. (Do the live demonstration to get an idea). If you are taking a large sum of money to Australia, or are constantly travelling to and fro from Australia to England, xe.com are quite good a bet.

I recommend using Ozforex. They are very good. I just transferred a good
amount to Australia and it went really well. excellent rates also. Talk to
them. I highly recommend them.
