Hmm..I see. So I dont have this item in my status page- character assessment particular...

Dont know what does that imply?? anyone anu ideas...

I reckon this one is nothing but form 80 right??

Form fileds are more are less similier with Form 80.

I faced problem when i fill the fileds which are UNKNOWN to me and simply can not leave it blank.

I'm afraid you didn't complete and lodged the right online application form...

Dear AITUHIN,

I suggest tht you check the mail confirmation that you must have received from DIAC, after online application lodgement.

It must have mentioned something like this-

Dear Mr XYZ

This email confirms receipt on the above date by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship of your application for a Skilled - Independent (VE 175) visa.

This is just to confirm tht u have applied for 175 only..just in case

I applied for right Visa subclass. And this online particulers for charecter assessment seems okay. I have checked pdf file of FORM 80 and i found SL 31 is similier with those fields i am faceing to be filled up. I also guessed since all dates are propossed it wont conflict future. I just assume it. Plz put you comment in this regards.

Guess that kinda explains..I didnt notice in ur signature tht u applied for 475 and not 175...that's why our doc requirements r different

so in 475, form 80 is manadatory to be frontloaded it seems...i mean equivalent of form 80, as the one that u got. Cheers

btw, i see tht u got NSW SS...I am planing to apply for one..any tips?

Should i just fill up the form and submit all 3 of them with all docs? how long did it take for u?

Yup..I got the NSW regional sponsorship i.e from Northern Inland Regional Development Board. I hv just filled Form R and attach Assessment,IELTS copy, Work reference from my supervisor, Photo and 250Aud charge. The replied or issued letter within 3weeks. Unfortunatly i didnt got the 1st letter to my postal address. Then they favor me by issuing another one....i might be lucky becoz by this time my profession removed from thier occupation list.

Notify me the successful outcome: 15-06-09
Issued letter: 21-06-09
Letter hadnt delivered to my address so i requested again them 1st week of July09
Finally i got it on 13th Agu 09.

You might apply to NSW not to regional certifying body... i guess so

Few updates from my side:

Applied to NSW today...paper-based.
Applied to VIC today..online...looking at the VIC timeline, I think I should rather forget about it

Sent my passport off for PCC to indian high commission in canberra. 2 months waiting period begins..

Overall, have done everyting I could possibly do...time to go into hibernation mode now for few months

Did you mention in your VIC application that you also applied for SS at another state? (They ask about it in the online application form...)

I wanted to apply at VIC too, but sent them an email, because I have an SS application in progress in QLD; got this answer from Victoria:

Dear X.Y.,

Thank you for your email. We are unable to consider you for State Sponsorship if you currently have an application in process with Queensland.

I have first applied to VIC online in the morning, and then sent paper application to NSW in the afternoon,which will take couple of days to be registered with NSW. So I chose to answer 'no' to that question in VIC application form

Sure..

I am more keen on NSW tho, as I really want to be in sydney..but melbourne is a very close 2nd choice, from my career (IT) perspective.
