have you guys ever try call diac?sometimes i just feel like calling them but our agent against that,he said it will delay the processing time even more ( but it's almost 14 months and still nothing from diac

I tried few times to call diac but no success..i am also tracking the status from aspc email, according to that..they are still processing the application dated 30 June 2007 (I attached some info from ASPC).

as far as i know from this thread that most of the august applicants received their Visa except those from High risk countries. I would like to findout someway to track the application from high risk countries. guys please suggest if there is any way..

Same here. 13 months +. Not from high risk country and with job contract submitted to DIAC with application. House sold, getting bored and loosing faith and temper!!

That's is the last 2 weeks update. The last update from this week shows that the timeline is currently on 8 July.

is that 30kg for unvalidated visas with one way tickets which has changed from the 40kg

or

does the 30kg replace the normal allowance of 20kg for everyone?

Same....also not from a high risk country (13 months today !!) and feeling quite miserable.
I call DIAC once a month - and the answer is always the same. No CO, lots of Aug 07 applicants, processed in order received (yea right!).
Hopefully this week will bring some changes.

Hi gang

Not been on for ages. There seems to be so much to do yet I keep finding excuses not to do anything - i'm in denial (only 25 days to go). Mum was really upset this morning - I feel really guilty. Keith's mum is coming Friday and it will be the last time we see her for a while - not looking forward to it. Shippers coming next week and soooooo much to do. Have convinced myself I'm just going on a long holiday!!!

Claire - did you decide to get the beagle puppy? Be warned - we have a beagle and I love him to bits BUT they malt and as puppies chew!!! They are however very lovable (and smelly - mines just farted as I typed this!!)

Minibelle - hope you had a great flight and are settling in. good luck hon.

Gillian - how's the house sale - keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Nix and mike - can't believe you are (and others) still waiting. I can't imagine how frustrating this is after 13 months!! Are they still trying to catch up or what? Saying a prayer for you all.

Lovely to hear from you, it's so quiet on here now. Not much happening at all, really feeling for everyone still waiting.

Went through a bit of a low point last week, really felt this house sale was slipping through our fingers but as it is although missives are not yet concluded we have been assured that house sale is fine ...... we are just waiting everyday for a phone call so we can get those tickets booked, we hoped to be leaving from Manchester but the flights that suited us are gone, we are now looking to fly from Heathrow on the 24th Oct (4 weeks on Friday). I wasn't planning on posting here until house sale went through but here I am still waiting and hoping missives are done and dusted sometime in the next couple of days.

I have waiting for over 14 months,from high risk country.still no co,no contact.I don't know what had happened in DIAC.The progress seems has been freezed.
