We're subclass 136 Skilled Independent, 2 parents & 1 child of 2 yrs. I am ASCO code 2125-13 (Engineer), no MODL, no agent.
Got the big yellow envelope yesterday: request for medicals and police checks. Fortunately did those already a month ago, so I can send it all off today. My timeline (also in austimeline)
Oct 29, 2002 Application received at ASPC
Dec 16, 2002 Acknowledgement received
Dec 19, 2002 IELTS test centre sent test results to ASPC
May 21, 2003 Medicals, Police requested.
This makes a total of 7 months from application to receipt of health and police check request, meaning that ASPC wheels may be turning faster than the quoted 50 weeks. Guess they have some catching up to do to meet some quotas that have been rumoured about?
Feels good to be at this stage, already want to thank Peter, Alan and others for all the help and advice. Also Peter, congrats on your Visa!
cheers
