We have called DIAC and asked how much longer the wait will be and all they said was "we can't tell you anything about it".
Our FL medical results have now expired and police clearance from 4 countries are
about expire as well...how annoying!
What's worse was that they told us that we had an case officer Amy assigned to us when we called them in April and we were absolutely over the moon but when we called DAIC the other day they told us that there was no record or what so ever that we had had an case officer!
How could this happen? Where did the name Amy come from???
We hope that this nightmare will end soon!!!!

I know it's crazy, isn't it!
I guess I will give them a call tomorrow and double check about our case officer and the processing situation for non MODL/CSL applicants.
And thanks for the email suggestion! I will definitely try that as well. But who do you think is the best to send that kind of emails? I would like it to be read at least....
Cheers!

Crazy Crazy Crazy!!! I think I would carefully word an email to outline the whole story of your application...you never know it might do the trick!! Perhaps end it with "is there any more information that we could supply to help with moving our application along!!!"
Good luck!!

Bad news. I just called DIAC and found out that non prioritised applications like mine will not be looked at at least next 12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I am a translator, I am not eligible for state sponsorship either.
Looks like we should just leave Australia and forget about visa for a while

I can't believe we are so unlucky.
Oh well, maybe we are not meant to stay in Australia. There must be better life waiting for us elsewhere in the world!

Hi Dodge,
Having had no luck with employer sponsorship for last two and half years. In fact I am unemployed at the moment because I am on WH visa currently and I had to leave my previous employer after having worked for them for 6 months.
well, looks like it is about time that we left Australia and forgot about visa...to keep our lives going.

hi there, i would just wait till you get a CO and they ask for it, you have'nt had your meds do yet have you?
just that you only have 12 month from the date you get your meds done to validate the visa and you may have a wait till you get a CO
but once you gat a CO things should move quickly hope this helps
good luck

Hi, I am new to this forum and I am planning to apply for Visa 175. Please let me know following information:
1. Can we (Indians) apply Visa on-line?
2. As I understand after little research online, first we need to get assessed then apply for Visa. Could somebody help me with structure (step by step process) what I need to do 1st and then in later stages.
Thanks in Advance
Help appreciated.
