Default Applied Australian Immigration - Now UK Tier 1 - Any problems ?

I was wondering if someone has already applied for Australian Immigration and now wants to apply for UK Tier 1 , will there be any problems that he should for see. Or there can be any effect on either application.

I hope Australia, if they get over with their lethargic processing. But UK is not a bad option either.

My question was whether there can be any problems, lets say i am in UK and i get my Australian Immigration, or will i get it if i am in UK ?

It doesn't matter to DIAC but you do need to keep them informed. If you get a visa to UK are you going to withdraw your Australian application so someone who actually wants to live here can your visa?

I can understand where you are coming from. The ethical step should be that. And i will seriously think about it once i get my Tier I.
