Application progress query

Hi wondered if anybody could help. Was just having a look at the application progress on the immigration website (pretty pointless after only a few weeks I know!) Anyway most things are listed as "required" even though they have had the information. Is that because they haven't started to look at it yet? or does that mean the documents haven't been uploaded properly?

The only thing that says received is evidence of de-facto relationship.

Hi Sooper,

You say it's only been a couple of weeks so in all likelihood they haven't looked that closely. I uploaded docs with my app on 9th March and only got 'received' at the end of June.

The updating of the screen can be a bit hit and miss so don't rely on it fully. I've just had contact from case officer this week so be prepared for a wait and if it arrives sooner then so much the better!

OK thank you, I say a few but it has been 7 or so weeks. Will have a look in the new year, see if anything changes :)

Thank you P. I am not worried just wondered how these things work. Now I know it can take 5 months or longer to change to received I won't have a look for a few months at least!

Our application is approaching 8 months with no changes on the status page and no CO :(

You lucky people that get COs in only 5 or 6 months don't know how well off you are

They could easily stay 'required' up until the visa grant.
