Application Process
 
How long is it taking to get 175 visa from the very start of the process to actually Standing on oz Soil!?
We've past the points bit are about to start the next step which i believe is the fella taking an exam?!

How long is a piece of string is the answer. Quite a common one I regret. Think 18 months and you might be pleasantly surprised, but I wouldn't count on it.

Hello Claire,
How long it will take will very much depend on the 'Primary Applicants' occupation. Firstly which skills assessment body will do the assessment (as they all take a different amount of time ranging from 3 weeks to 3 months!) Then it will depend if the occupation is on the CSL or not and if state sponsorship is available. Depending on the above the process could be 6 months or well over a year!
