Hello friends i have applied for the gsm under ve 175 independent offshore visa for Australia i have sent all of the docs asked by my CO given below everything but no response yet its been almost 3 n half years any one knows how much more time i have to wait they didn't even updated some of d docs that have been sent to them long before PLS HELP

Unfortunately it is nigh on impossible to comment as you have not provided the crucial information which is occupation / processing category.

You certainly have been waiting a long time though and at one point your application looked to be moving. Have you ever contacted DIAC?

hi there we know how you feel we still are waiting we lodged our 175 skilled independant visa in 2008. we still are waiting we wrote to the immigration minister about how long we would have to wait again it depends on your occupation. he did say in his letter we would be looking at 2012. not much we can do but he said also we could consider the 457 visa or state sponsership.becouse we have a 175 pending we would not have to pay another visa charge all we can do his hang in there.

Thanks to all of u guy's for your prompt replies my occupation is RAC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning mechanic nad i don't know that under what category i come cos i have been there in Sydney aus for while n my ajent is from there now he won't return my calls or repli my emails that's y i don have any updates about my application

Have you thought to maybe report him to MARA? If your agent is in Sydney he must be MARA registered.

it might be possible but i haven't received any notification from department that my application in has been denied or any thing

Hi there,

There is a possiblity that your agent messed up somewhere. You never know your application might have been approved a long time ago and the agent forgot to communicate it to you.

The best is to - talk to IMMI and tell them your situation. They might say that you had authorised your agent to receive info on your behalf. You need to be pro-active at this point and explain what has happened and they might guide you and tell you how to proceed further.

If the OP has an agent then DIAC cannot guide him. That's what the agent is for. If he wants to receive communication from DIAC he needs to complete a form 929 to notify the department that he is not using the agent anymore. He also needs to notify the agent that he no longer wishes to use their service.
