we are in oz and my brother is hoping to come here as well. one way of getting here is for him to find a job and then get the employer to sponsor him, has anyone else done this??? it seems a bit long winded
any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what he does. If he is a highly skilled worker who's profession is in high demand (nurse, etc) it would be much easier than if he's in a job which needs licensing or is not in as high of demand (electrician, plumber, etc).

Tried, and failed (mechanical engineer). Have applied for a 175 instead.
