i have tried everything in the book to apply for australia and end up at a
dead end every time
i have family there (uncle) i dont have a trade but do have 7 years work
experience, but in an unskilled job - furniture frame assembler/maker
i am 32 years old and am seriously thinking of doing a nvq level 2 in
joinery and using my work experience as the 4 years but have been told it
has to be a skilled work exp or in my new to be trade joinery is this right?
also i have tried the student visa sager, would like to go over to oz,study
for a joinery course there but there equivelent is only 16 weeks full time
and in england its 2 years 2 evenings a week ,i would have to study that
plus several other courses to gain the 2 years ful time status,if you
accumalate the courses can you go over the 2 years?
my heads in bits like most others on this forum,i wont stop till i`m back in
oz so please help before i fall in a heap of exhaustion

Dear Craig,
If you are prepared to enter training that TRA will eventually recognise as being equivalent to an Oz tradesman then you have a hope.
It will take you some time to get the trade recognised and crucial here could be the deming date -
Perhaps we should have a chat on the phone.
