Hi All,

Just wanted to see if there is anyone planning on moving to OZ (Brisbane for us) this Jan as my partner and I are not sure if its a good time to move. We are worried about leaving our good jobs in the UK and having to find new stable jobs in Brisbane. We understand that this was going to happen but wondering since the "credit crunch" if its a good idea to leave during this time. Were not sure if it would be a better idea to wait 4-6 months too see what happens and then immigrate and just wondering if anyone else is having these feelings?

We went over this past Nov for 3 weeks to validate/rec trip and found that the market was good but now seeing it slow down and wonder if its just the time of year or the effects of the credit crunch. My partner works in IT and Im a graphic designer. He was able to find jobs but within smaller companies who may be more vulnerable in theses times rather then a larger more established company. I had a couple of interviews with good responses for when we do eventually move.

Anyone else out there having these feelings or general comments or advice?
