Burb - how long will it take before you lodge that??????

My update - Affidavit has been submitted to Case Officer who apparently is very happy with it - it now goes to Character Assessment Unit and she (our CO) is going to have it fast tracked - if only we need how long "fast tracked" is? One week - 1 month - 6 months - but we don't - so we sit and wait again... Agent says - could possibly be quite quick - but still doesn't answer the question !!

Some news - SA Couple get RSMS 119 in 21 days !! ........... Granted yesterday ... Guess what else - used same Agent as me ... So he gets a big big kiss all round !! Agent of the Year award

Janjan why is the CO fast tracking yours? Your agent requested? How is the CO doing that?

Application lodged in Brisbane office? Any idea which month was it lodged? Was the visa expedited by employers etc. or was it just via a normal process?

Hi Looky - Reason for fast tracking is because we been lodged for 5 months in a back log and also CO has brains !! So she said she would do this......

Was lodged 21 days ago lol YES in Brisbane - normal process - as the "old" Case Officers are now dealing with the recently lodged applications they are taking their normal course and not falling into the back log pile.... so they are taking their normal time period - if not sooner.....

My Agent is away this week so I don't expect any emails BOO HOO !! But who knows MAYBE Monday or Tuesday next week????

Thanks for the info Janjan. I still haven't heard anything back other than the request for original pcc a few weeks back which I have already mailed back to them.

Looky - if you deaing direct with DIAC - Follow up with your CO - a polite email should help ... I would.

I don't know if I have a CO or not. Don't have any name of any CO. The request for the original pcc was not from a CO. It was the same request burbage had before me.

Is there any way I can check whats happening to mine? Don't think there is a phone number for Brisbane office, there is only a fax number I think. Wonder if theres any issues with mine....

I am constantly checking my mailbox but it seems email is the first point of contact for the CO according to your post.
