Default Any one with C++ MODL

dear all

Could any one tell me that how much detail about a project in the employer reference letter is ACS looking for to write the magical statement for C++ MODL?

Your roles and responsibilities like coding, code review, code documentation, unit testing, etc. And, atleast a line describing about your project and somewhere a phrase stating that you're nice person.

In my ACS result letter they just mentioned the following and I'm hoping this presumably means MODL but nowhere mentioned as "MODL".
We'll see what other friends say about this.

Your skills have been asessed to be suitable for migration under 2231-79 (specialising in C++/C#/C) of the ASCO Code, being the skilled occupation indicated that you intend to nominate in a General skilled Migration application.

Based on the provided certified documentation it is the opinion of the ACS that the applicant has 12 months experience in C++/C#/C.

thanks for the reply and CONGRATS .....you have definetly got MODL...

Please help me a little further. While writing about my projects i am mentioning my role in the analysis and implementation phase. Now as i understand from your reply i should write something like.."My role in the implementation phase included writing code in C++, documenting and testing code to ensure robust delivery of the assigned components of the System". would this work or do i need to include that what concepts of C++ were covered in the project .e.g inheritance etc.

Also did the 1 year C++ work experience you provided was spread over a number of years or should it be like the last 1 year of the whole number of years you have been working?

looking forward to your reply

Saad,

First thing to understand is that you shouldn't lie.

Even if your employer is flexible enough to cooperate with your exp letter, keep it simple with the roles and responsibilities those I've mentioned as a C++ programmer for last 4 years.

I am not telling a lie here dear....only trying to understand whether i qualify for MODL or not? My question about C++ experience may have sounded to you like i am going to fix it around but in truth i have been partially involved in project implementation since last 5 years and handling other responsibilities that come under the umbrella of ICT Consultant in Computing Professionals nec. However in the first year of these 5 years i was majorly involved in a Project....C++ work...thats why i wanted to know the importance of precedence of experience of years.

Its only the ACS who can decide wether you qualify for MODL or not ................

If you want to meet the 120 points threshold then why not you try for good IELTS result.

Do not be worried and go ahead with the process ....

On the day of submittion if 120 points are the threshold stated by DIMA then no worries.
As i think 120 or 150 makes no difference ..... but 119 and 120 makes.

try this http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...-applicant.htm
