Any idea what the text was on the Indian PCC
Hi
I received my Indian PCC yesterday. It was a A4 paper with text on it.
I would like to know whether its the same text in all Indian PCC.
I don't have mine right now as I am typing this from my office.
I would appreaciate if anyone can post what's the text on their indian PCC.
Cheers
Badri

The text was only 2-3 lines. It basically points to your full name, your passport number and that there are no adverse records against you.
Let me know if that brings you peace of mind.

Re: Any idea what the text was on the Indian PCC
My document said the following:
There is no adverse information against Mr.Badrinath holder of indian passport XXXXXX issued at mumbai on xx.xx.xxxx, which would render him ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for Australia
First I panicked when i read ineligible but in the context of the sentence it was fine.
Please let me know if you also got the similar letter. That will put me in peace of mind.
Thanks for the previous reply

Hi Guys,
Do you know how long the PCC takes. I applied for mine at the Indian Consulate in NYC on the 15th of June. No word from them yet. Its getting me worried. Slightly Off-topic, have any of you had experiences with the turnaround times for the FBI finger-print record check. I sent that out also on the 15th of June..
Thanks and waiting !

Indian PCC's wording is COMPLICATED
It says " This person blah blah has no adverse record that makes him ineligible for travel to blah blah"
We panicked seeing just the sentence starting with ineligible but its actually a full sentence from start to finish..
