any help with this one,pre grant letter ?
Hi all,
Were old time applicants a full 2yrs wait!, at last now we are
moving. Between submitting our meds and police checks etc,does anybody
have any ideas of to when your pre-grant letter could be sent out.Only
this would help us in planning with house sale/removals etc,

I'd check out www.austimeline.com
It took a couple of months for us to get everything back after we'd submitted our PCs and Meds.

We submitted our medicals 30 September & Police certs 9 October. Got
pre-grant letter 13 Jan. It probably would have been sooner but we had to
get an Assurance of Support Bond lodged over the new year.

You may find you don't get a pre-grant. It seems to be a matter of
pot luck - some people go direct to visa grant.

Hi Dinky welcome back. Glad you've heard from them and sent stuff off.
We were still waiting but chased them up last week and they've sent us a letter on Monday asking for some additional reference information. So hopefully we are no longer left behind.

Going by recent activity at London AHC they seem to be taking just over 3 months at present, between receiving medicals/police checks and granting visas. Im not sure what the criteria is for who gets pregrant letter and who does nt. We applied 1/3/01 submitted medicals 14/10/02 & got our visas granted 21/1/03 (we did nt get pre grant letter).
