Hi guys, I am currently living in Canada with my fiancee (who is a Canadian citizen).
I'm trying to get my employment authorisation extended from March 02 until August 02,
as then she can accompany me back to Aus. Otherwise, I need to leave in March, and we
will be apart around 6 months. This is not too bad, but I am wondering if it will
have any impact on her application (We had planned to apply in australia with her as
my defacto - I'd heard it takes only a few hours after you get the paperwork)
although I will have lived with her for the required year, we have just spent 6
months apart. Do you think this will have impact, or is it permissible with
explanation? If that doesnt make sense, its probably cuz I sucked at explaining it
