Hi, I'm planning to apply for PR to Australia soon as skilled independent (subclass 137).
I want to be sure that I can pass the point test and that I'm eligible for work experience (specific & recent).
I have 6 years experience as a QA Engineer (most of it before and during my study, all on a full time base).
I have a Bachelor of Technology degree in Software Engineering & Management that I received last year.

My Point Test:

Skills - 60
Age (30) - 25
English – 20
Study in other language – 5
Specific work experience – ?
---------------------------------------------
?

For recent experience you should have experience 3 out of last 4 years. If your experience close to your nominated occupation then you are eligible for specific experience

From what I know for specific work experience I need 3 out of last 4 years and for recent work experience I need only 12 month out of last 18 month (that’s the basic requirement).
But is it ok that most of my experience was during my study?

I'm no expert but I reckon you'll be fine.
It wouldn't do any harm though to contact an agent to go through your chances.
