Default ALAN, JEREMY , GEORGE Please help me out!!!

Hi,

I am sick and tired of waiting for my visa but I must wait. I am a ski-ind applicant and my application is under process for the last 18 months!!!!.

I did receive grant letter but I have informed case officer that i am allready engaged with a girl and getting married soon. Based on this engagement letter case officer has asked me to disregard the grant letter and also he adviced me to send marriage certificate and wifes IELTS, passport, birth certificate and her education certificate.

I got married on 4th of april 2004 and sent all docs like PCC, medicals, marriage certificate,IELTS, birth certificate, form 47A and 1022 and case officer has conforemd me that he has received all the docs.

weeks ago, i mailed case officer and he replied saying that he no more works in DIMIA and he is no more handling my application. However this old case officer has forwarded my mail to REGION-2 mail box and asked me to wait 3-4 weeks time he also asked me to mail [email protected] for any urgent query.

Now who is my case officer? I did mail many times to region-2 manager but no reply from him. I donno who is handling my application or its still in the Q.

Should i call DIMIA and find out?
Please suggest me since its allmost 18 months i am realy disappointed.

Hi Shiv,

They've already moved heaven and earth to vacate the grant decision and include your wife. As you will have noticed from this forum, the processing slowed down in June but it picking up now, with the proviso that a number of case officers are moving between areas, so there might be a short delay. No point doing much but you can certainly give the ASPC a phone call if it helps.

Cheers,
