Hi,

a couple a days ago we received a request from ASPC team (not from our CO) to send form 80 for my husband AGAIN since we hadn't filled in one question properly. I understand that.
What bothers me now is this: we were asked for this form in February 2008 and we sent it and we sent two post-lodgement enquiries in order to find out more about the status of our application. Every time we got the response that it had still been under national and other checks.
Now they want us to fill the form 80 again - does it mean DIAC has just begun their checks using this form or they finished them???
Can anyone help with this question?

Hi Makido,

I don't know the answer - it could mean anything, but for me the Form 80 was the final request - I got my visa about 10 days later!

So it could mean good news - I hope so!

thanks for replying. We are a bit confused, we hope we won't have to wait for a long time any more.


Are there also other people in the same boat regarding this form and checking? I mean, that htey were asked twice for that and after several months?
