After receiving PR how late can we visit australia?

Hi,

I am currently on an assignment in UK, and my assignment ends in may 2011. incase, if I get my visa in October, how much time will I have to visit first time to OZ?

Depends on what is the first entry date given to you by your case officer.

depends on you visa label, usually it is one year from the date of medicals.

I don't know that there is a hard and fast rule about that. Our validation deadline was 9 months after medicals and 7 months after grant...

Its 12 months from medicals or Police Checks- as a rule. The Case Officer may relax the limit and extend the initial entry date further depending on individual circumstances.

We did our meds/police check in sept 09 for 175. Visa granted early Jan 10 for latest entry date Jan 11. I have young kids so maybe they gave us some extra time.

Irrelevant but doesn't matter, count yourself lucky you've got extra time :D
