Default Affects on visas by buying a business in Australia ???

Hi all,

Would anyone know if buying a business or (the more likely option) becoming a business partner in Australia has any effect on trying to move out there ??

As mentioned in my previous posts my partners Uncle has an established company and he wants to sponsor us to go over. (this is the possible business partner oportunity)

The question is - should I forget about becoming a business partner / buying a company until we have succesfully moved to Aus ???

Thanks in advance

Tony

Can your uncle sponsor you for employer nominated migration? Or can you get a visa on your own skills?

Business skill migration requires that you have an existing track record as a business owner, senior executive or investor.

Thanks for the speedy response

He will willingly sponsor us in any way he can, the problem is is that he wants me over ASAP as the business is stretched to capacity and due to time constraints he is possibly losing contracts etc. My main task is to fully computerise the business (a lot of this has already been done here) and to also work "in the field" as a supervisor to gee the lads up !

A lot of work was done just under a year ago when we went for 3 months on holiday (no pay involved).

Being 38 now and having 2 children I cant get a working holiday visa and going over for another 3 month holiday means I would be unable to get paid having no TFN - I basically didnt want him to make me a business partner and it having a diverse affect on any visa we would try for.

I have been in the IT industry for 20 years but have no real formal qualifications as my career path has always been based on experience and not paper qualifications !

Kind regards
