advice on Interview and clinical assessments for QAS

Hi,

I am new to the site and would appreciate any info on the interview and clinical assesments for QAS.
I am a paramedic going to Australia in 2 weeks. Has any one been recently who can offer me some insight into the questions and assesments??
I have been revising for the last few months and feeling now like I know nothing and not retaining anything:confused:...... PANIC has set in!!! I have downloaded the CPG from the QAS site (which I think is far better than JRCALC)!!!

I have searched some threads but if anyone can send me links to useful threads I may have missed or have any recent info, I would be very grateful! Im really nervous and really excited......it had been a 4 year dream thats suddenly coming to fruition......finally got my fella to agree to the move.....or at least let me try for the job!!!:fingerscrossed:

Look forward to hearing from anyone.....Thanks!!

Hi Caz,

Welcome to BE.

I can't help with you query, but I've moved your thread to our Australia forum and hopefully someone will be along soon who can share some pointers.

Not been much on QAS lately as Queensland Govt are losing staff by the bucketload and those of us who are left are to scared to breathe.
Do you have a visa yet?

Good luck

Be warned though, the cuts going on here are a little more drastic than most, approx 7000 people have lost their jobs in Queensland Govt in the last month - 2 weeks notice if we're lucky  Paramedics are reasonably safe, lucky blighters, cos they are front line, the rest of us sleep with our fingers crossed!

Main QAS thread is here
- lots of stuff in it about the interviews etc :)
