ACS Skill assessment for australia PR
 

Dear fellows,

I want to get skill assessment done from ACS for software tester role. Please help me to understand if I need to take up RPL, sharing my study and work experience details below:

Degree=Bachelor degree in electronics & communication engineering completed with first class score
University= visveswaraiah technological university, popularly known as VTU
Session= 2005 - 2009
Course completion= July 2009
Major courses studied are as follow
total 4 semesters of 6 month each

Work experience:
Jan 2010 - till date and continuing
Total work experience till date - 7 years 8 months
Role - Test engineer(software)
Worked on- Banking apps on desktop, mobile phones
Responsibilities:
1)Specify, develop and write test plans and test scripts, produce test cases, carry out different type of black box testing techniques.
2)Document rest results, log bugs, track and close them
3)Producing test deliverables
4)Follow agile SDLC methodology
5)Leading the test team, and complete test responsibilies

I think you may have left out some info from your post that you intended to include (Units completed for degree). Anyway, page 22 covers software tester - https://www.acs.org.au/content/dam/a...02017%20V4.pdf
