Who has some specific vendor certifications (as per ACS web site, MCSE is OK), may assess their skills under Group B, which require 6 years of working experience in IT.
Who do not have academic IT degree or vendor certification, may access their skills through RPL, which require 8 years + working experience.
So, you have no chances, now.

As you do not have academic IT degree, you are not eligiable to assess your skills under Group A.

You must have a look at ACS site, recently they have announced some updation in the requirements.

Re: ACS requirement ???
I think Group B is for those who don't have a degree but have a Diploma in IT, he does'nt have degree nor deploma so RPL is for him and 8 years full time experience is required.

Re: ACS requirement ???
If you have an MCSE and more than 6 years 'Professional Level' IT experience then you may be able to qualify via Group B.

Re: ACS requirement ???
If the reference is for an old job then the date should not be an issue.

From the information you supply it is not easy to say whether you will meet the ACS criteria. I suggest you make use of the free initial assessments that we agents offer.
