Guess I meant longer than the 12 weeks for ACS. I am looking forward to it. I have my App filled out and ready to go. I did make the mistake of getting my criminal record too soon, but if the Visa gets approved in 6-8 months it will still be good. It expires Dec 09. If I have to get it again, it will be OK too...That came back within 7 days.
Good Luck to you too!! Hopefully we will be getting our Congrats on here by mid to late 09!! keep in tocuh!!! |

well....yes...lets hope for the best....but u are from low risk country..so it will be even fast for you..for me it will be also as I am from India and it comes under high risk country..anyways may be CSL will make some difference...if CSL and MODL does not change by the time we will get out ACS assesment and file the visa..I have not even started my application prepration..have to do it..some forms are too long..and main problem is we even cannot save them..we have to take print out only..how u filled the forms (sounds like dull question, but believe its pain in ass if u cannot save the forms as if we miss one thing we need to fill the whole form again.. :( )..
keep in tocuh!!! Delivered 3rd Dec. Credit card charged 10th Dec. Status: To be allocated. |

keep in tocuh!!! It's funny the last certification I obtained was my A+ in 1996. ( [rant] After working in the field I believe certifications are a waste of time. I have worked with too many "Certified" people who had no clue as to what they were doing...MCSEs who didn't understand drive mapping or login scripts [/endrant] ) Having said that, I remember how nervous I was when hitting submit on the test completion, that is the same nervous feeling I have when sending any of these documents off. Even though I know it's not a one shot deal and they will call if I miss a piece of information, I still get nervous. |

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I was ready to do my RPL when I found out that having MCSE can get me reviewed as Group B. So I thought; if I do RPL, at takes time, money and effort, and all I get is a positive review. If I do MCSE, it also takes time, money and effort, but then I get a positive assessment AND an extra qualification, which I'm sure can only help me in a strange country where no-one knows me.
As per my understanding..certifications are must in countries like USA, AUS..if you have certification offcourse with knowledge, you will be able to sell ur self... :) Thanks |

Well..guys..I understand ur views..I am a SAP consultant...I have around 2.5 years of exp in SAP ERP and SAP BW/BI product..I don't have any SAP Certification..I worked in SAP labs for 2 years...and you know even in India (Where certification is not necessary)..employers ask for certifications..they say they have to present us to clients and client was certifications...
