Default ACS Experience & Certification

Hi All,

I'm new to British Expats, I had done some research on Migration for Australia for a long time.

I'm an Systems/Network Engineer by Profession.

My Experience as Goes

1st Company
Hardware Administrator - Aug 2005 - Jun 2006
Systems Administrator - Jul 2006 - Feb 2008
Network Administrator - Mar 2008 - Jul 2008

2nd Company
IT Support Executive - Jul 2008 - Oct 2008
System Administrator - Oct 2008 - Oct 2009
Team Lead - Nov 2009 - Dec 2010
Assistant Manager - Dec 2010 - Sep 2011
Specialist - Network Operations - Sep 2011 - Oct 2012

3rd Company
Senior Engineer - Oct 2012 - till Now

and I have Completed my MCSE 2003 in 2007,and Updated my self to MCITP 2008 Server and MCSE - Desktop Infrastructure for 2012 Server and CCNP Certification also.

Now my Question is

According to ACS Website it says "If your Diploma or Vendor Certification is assessed as having an ICT major which is closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 5 years relevant work experience completed within the past 10 years or 6 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history (whichever provides the earliest skill date) to meet the suitability criteria."

"All relevant work experience completed after the “Skill Level Requirement Met Date” will be considered “Skilled Employment” and eligible for points under the skilled migration points test "

So According to this I'm getting my Skill Level Requirement Met date on 2007 June after I finished my MCSE 2003 Server.

I'm planning to Apply on 262113 Systems Administrator, even though I worked as a Manager, What I did was to Manage a Team of System Administrators, Will that be Counted ?

If yes, then My Skilled Employment will be from 2007 Onwards, if so Currently I will have Skilled Employment of around 7 Years from 2007 June to 2014 June, So will I get 10 points from Department of Immigration.

Is there a Possibility of Getting 10 Points ?

As you identified, you need a combination of recognised qualification and experience to be deemed skilled. You also identified that you would need 5 or 6 years experience, so with a work history starting in 2005, the earliest you would be deemed skilled is 2010 if you only require 5 years, and all your work history is relevant and closely related to nominated occupation, and your qualification is recognised.

Looking at the summary criteria - https://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets...teria-2014.pdf - I cannot see MCSE 2003 (unless it is one of those listed by skill) or MCITP. The MCSE - desktop infrastructure and CCNP are both listed though, so your deeming date may be later depending on when you took these qualifications.

Only experience after the deeming date can be used for points, and only this experience should be entered in an EOI once you have your assessment.

Thanks Alot... So According my understanding, I'm lack of points.... So the route should be 190 and IELTS 7 for me to apply.

Systems Administrator is only on the CSOL so you were not eligible for the 189 anyway. You will need to check to see which states are sponsoring your occupation, and check to see if they have any additional requirements regarding IELTS, funds, etc.
