Then you need to go through RPL....which needs at least 6 years of experience and also need to prepare a project report.

Also, you might need couple of collgues refrences.

Best way is to go to an agent and suck up all details....then you deceide how would you like to move forward.

The ACS says that if you done your done your graduation parttime then you have to through the RPL route.

If you dont show them the MCA and just show the BSc (If it was full time college) then they would not question.

Then you would need 4 years of IT experience.

For RPL you need 6 yrs of Exp atleast

Not true. ACS recognizes part time education, but pro-rates it to full time education. Requirements are clearly listed in the PIM guidelines as in how many semesters and what part of that needs to be ICT content.

I do not understand why you suggest to keep the MCA out of the picture. It does not invalidate the BSc but only adds to the number of hours for formal education. The ACS takes the total sum of education into account.

Note for RPL a number of years will be reducted from the work experience as the ACS deems that required to achieve professional level. This is usually 2 years so a minimum of 8 years is required for those that follow that route.

To me it seems that Sushil should be able to apply for the regular route (as discussed privately), and with a degree even if the ICT content is a bit low, he should be able to qualify in either group A or B as long as the degree is deemed equivalent to an Aussie one.

If in doubt, advice of a migration agent specializing in ACS assessments such as Peter from PTLabs may be considered before continuing.

Cheers,
Sylvia

I totally agree with you but if you are a doing a partime studies, There are very less learning hours. Also you need to a writing proof about the university about the same which would not be easy to get.

Overall I think he should take a Migration agent help

Hi Himanshuaus,

In My MCA Transcripts it is clearly mentioned number of credit for each subject. Will that suffice for the proof or i will require some more info from University. Please let me know.
