ACS assessment, query re: references
Hi,
I have a reference from a previous employer on company letter headed paper. This is from HR so it only says the dates I worked and my title. It also states who my direct manager was. I am getting a personal detailed reference from this person. However, he no long works for the company.
This person lives overseas and wants to send the personal reference from his new work email account. This will have his contact details and his current job title, etc... My question is - does he need to physically sign the reference or will this suffice?
Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Gav

As you dont have the reference letter in the specified format of ACS, I suggest you take a hard copy of the letter(statutory declaration) from your manager with his signature and possibly his credentials such his visiting card, contact details , photocopies of experience letter from his previous and current organization.
Good day!!

Hi,
Thanks for the reply robin...
"As you dont have the reference letter in the specified format of ACS"
Do you know exactly what this is?
I dont think I will be able to get photocopies of an experience letter from his previous and current organization. This seems like a bit over the top, no?
I might fill out a statutory declaration and have this stamped. Would the formal reference from HR, plus the statutory declaration, and the personal reference from my direct manager (with his contact details and full email signature including title) be ok?
Thanks for your help!
Gavin
