aaarrrrraaaaahhhhh!
aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
My parents have just had a call from Australia house asking for a forwarding address in Australia!
I can't bear the wait. We've (or should I say they) not had the easiest time with their visa application, due to medical complications and now it looks as though their dream is turning into reality!
Parents are pacing up and down at home and i can't concentrate at work.
PS, they have applied for the old style retirement visa.

They have just sold the house and provided this info along with their medical cover to Australia House. I'm presuming this is a good sign. Fingers crossed.

Claire
I can recall you telling me about your parents' situation (via PM) back in March when we started our own visa application research/process
I sincerely hope this is the good news you've been waiting for
Best regards

Thanks guys!
My parents had a bit of a nightmare with their medicals and my Mum was diagnosed with a condition, that we weren't expecting, along with scaring of TB - which she didn't even know she had. It was a rollacoaster of emotions for us all.
I will let you know how things pan out. Hopefully we can crack open the champers at the weekend, my dad has had it chilling for sometime now.
Claire :-)

PHEW!!! Parents got their visa on Friday, we did do some celebrating on Saturday night, suffered quite badly yesterday! Parents have the shippers in as we speak.
A weight off my mind - all of our minds really.

It will be lovely to have them with us. When we thought they wouldn't get the visa, it made me realise how much I did want them there and to do whatever we could to get them out there, it's such a releif! Both parents are absolutely over the moon!
