Default PCC from home country

Hi all

Can anyone help us?

I am going to apply for PR this week. I have fulfilled all the conditions of SIR. But my wife recently joined me (Sep 1st). Will the immigration department ask for her PCC from our home country?

Regards
Sunil

Have been following this thread for a while now. And it is our turn to submit the application!

We have filled the form couple of days ago and saved it - will press the SUBMIT button tomorrow! All the documents are ready to be attached soon after.

Would love to hear from others who will be submitting the form in the same week or month.

I know it's going to be an anxious wait for all of us so wish you all the best.

Mari

Hi sunny side

Please let me know, when you are filling the online application do we need to provide main applicant IELTS results and do we need to mention who is the primary applicant in 475 visa. In 475 visa i am the secondary applicant and in 887 visa I want to be a primary applicant. I worried about IELTS in this situation.

Thank you.

You can refer the paper form and see what information are required.

We submitted our application online on 2nd Jan. We were not asked for IELTS but we just attached the old one.

Also no question about who was Prime applicant on 475.

Hi Sunny

Thank you very much for quick reply. What a relief...... you were no asked for IELTS mean they don’t concern about IELTS in 887 visa. They concern about 12 month full time work and living in regional area. last year we checked online application there were one question about IELTS. at that time need to fill IELTS results. I think they change it.
Thanks again sunny..

Hi aish

As my knowledge, definitely don’t need to skill assessment. We can do any job during our first 2 years. So we don’t want to get skill assessment again. But I have no idea about IELTS. My case is deferent than you. We swop main applicant.

Any way all the best……..

We addressed the letter to the Immigration Dept.

There was no question about the IELTS - primary or secondary applicants

Our understanding is that you can do any job (or 2 jobs) as long as you have completed 35hrs per week then you are through.

Good luck to all

Post 887 Visa Applicants

Hi
I’m the main applicant holding 475 visa. I came in to Australia in January 2011. I’ve completed 2years and working for last 20months. I got married in October 2012 and my partner is holding 489 (subsequent entrant visa) under skill select. He came in to Australia this month (January 2013) My question is whether I can add my partner to my 887 (Permanent) visa application? Should my partner also complete 2year being in Australia?
If I check the eligibility of secondary applicants for 887visa, secondary applicants should hold one of the visas 495, 496, 487, 475, 476, 485 & 471. As 475 is no longer now and 489 is the newly introduced visa, 489 visa also should be in the list.
Could you please let me know whether I can add him to my 887 (permanent visa) application.
Thank you.

Hi,

I'm currently on 475 visa as a main applicant.
I was Wondering if my wife as secondary applicant needs to submit a new IELTS result to prove of functional English language ability ? Since Her last result would be expired within next 4 month before we would be able to apply for 887 visa?

Appreciate your help a lot.

Hey Mate,
She doesn’t need to take a seat again as they won’t ask for English language ability.
Cheers,

That’s great news. Congratulations...In my case, some new applicants confirm online process didn’t ask about the IELTS. So big relief for me. I need to wait another 9 month to apply PR ...
