864 visa

Hi, does anyone know how long approx it’s taking for the contributory aged parent 864 visa to be processed? We’ve been told information from 6 months up to 8 years. Obviously that’s a big gap and we’re looking to narrow it down and get a better idea of a time frame. Thanks!

I’d be expecting the 8years+ then anything less would be a bonus.

Current processing times for CPV 864 visa from lodgement to grant is about 3-4 years (onshore lodgement is quicker). You can keep an eye on developments here:
