Hi BE,

I am two years going on three into the sponsored aged parent route (the long wait) and had my medicals/police checks last October. I know this may not mean anything in terms of the timeline! However, my family here (Aussie citizens) are going back to the UK for an extended period of time, not sure for how long, but probably at least a year, meanwhile retaining their house here in the interim. However, I'm not sure where that leaves me. They want me to accompany them but would I have to withdraw my visa app or would it trundle on regardless while I/we are offshore? Any thoughts?
