Default 804 Bridging Visa - Seniors cards

My parents are now on the Bridging Visa awaiting approval for 804
They have both applied for and received their Seniors cards

This entitles them to a few things on concession.

My question is, the money that they save by using the seniors card, will this be taken out of the $7K bond that I have to lay down ?

Thanks

Stu

Hi Stu - is this a Commonwealth or a State Seniors Card?

We have been in Oz on a temporary retirement visa for 15 years and have seniors cards. No bond in our case, so if it's the normal one like ours we just use the card now and again for instant discounts.

I think you are in for a long wait on the 804. We lodged the onshore 864 CPV last March with an expected 1 year wait, could now be 3 years + ??? the queue has only moved 6 weeks in nearly 2 years
