457visa form 1066 Q 32 Help
Hello all, we are new to the forum, so I hope we are posting in the right place
I have been offered a job in Melbourne by an Australian company who are sponsoring me/the role via a 457 visa, parts 1 and 2 are complete, i.e. they are eligible to be a sponsoring company, and the role/myself plus my wife have been approved, and I have been passed the Nomination ID and Application ID numbers and now need to complete the eVisa application 1066 on-line form, or the e457 as it is also known.
Before I go on-line and start the application, I downloaded the 1066 form, and Q32 is not very clear and I was hoping for some direction please.

If Approved, subsequent entrants will be granted a visa up to the primary persons visa cease date.
Visa cease date of primary person (box) day/month/year
As the visa has not yet been approved, how will I know when it will expire? Do I guess a date 4 years from when it might be issued? or should I leave it blank?
My wife will be the secondary person on the 1066 eVisa form and no there will be no others to add at any stage in the future.
Hopefully, if we get this right first time, we can get the visa issued by the end of Jan, and be there before the end of Oz summer
Many Thanks
Dan and Jo

If the job is an ongoing contract, then the longest a 457 can run for is 4 years. So take a likely date on which you will be required to start - the way you are thinking, maybe 1st March 2013, and add four years to it

If your contract with the company has an end date, then you put that.

Its an ongoing contract, and we hope to convert to PR ASAP, so I agree, I'll go for 01/03/2017 :-)
