I said in mine I needed it by 12th November, 6 weeks after the submission date... Doesn't seem to have made a scrap of difference.

Oh god, this waiting is driving me insane! I know I haven't been waiting as long as some people on here. Initial estimates from my sponsor were 6 weeks!

*sigh* another week goes by without a single word. Can't plan your life, can't organise your finances, can't pack, can't book a flight, can't get involved with anything because you might be leaving, don't know if you'll still be here at Christmas, can't hand in notice in current job, keeping it secret... life in limbo. Is this what it's like in prison?

the only comfort is we are all in the same boat and totally know how you feel!!! ive been living with the mother in law for a year with my 2 kids and its been hell!! the visa process for us is the last stage of waiting its took us 8 mths from getting job offer in qld to now!!! :curse:
