Default 457 Travel Insurance - Childrens names not specified

Hello!
I am currently having my 457 sponsored visa processed and have supplied all the necessary documents.
I have annual travel insurance through my bank and they provided me a certificate with my and my husbands name and underneath stated that the policy covers 'all dependents' and then defines dependents as children, step children, etc
My visa agent has rejected this saying the certificate needs to clearly state all our names and dates of birth - my bank say they wont provide this as it is only my and my husbands name on the account.
Has anyone else come across this? As we are struggling to make ends meet at the moment, I dont want to pay again for great annual travel insurance i already have in place
Any advice welcome
Thanks JO x

Tell your visa agent to stick their objection where the sun don't shine. What oyu have is perfectly adequate as it's exactly what I had and my visa was granted in two days.

Cheers

I thought it was Australian medical insurance you had to take out for the 457, not an annual travel policy? Just a question, I didn't have this visa, it was just my understanding from other threads.

It is

Travel insurance would no longer be valid if you moved to another country to live.

Agree with the others. Most of them have 30 day trip limitations too. Not to mention only covering emergency treatment. You need actual medical insurance.
