Hi Everyone

Just a quick question I am currently in Aus on a 457 visa and have been on this for just under 3 years. I have about 13 months left on this visa. My dilemma is that my occupation got taken off the SOL list and there is nothing close to what I do anymore. Is there anyway I can get PR or is it just a losing battle now?

Any help, advice, information would be very much appreciated.

There are various lists to refer to these days. Has your occupation been removed from Schedule 3 and 4 of the SOL and also the ENSOL and 457 lists? I would be quite surprised if it has. First of all check all those lists and see where you stand.

And what occupation was that. Also check the schedule 4 for state sponsorship.
