Default 457 to PR

This has probably been asked a thousand times before! so will keep it short and to the point.

With and ENS visa are you tied to an empoyer? and if so how long for?

Are there any restricitions with the 175 visa?

If this has already been answered, would be grateful for a link.

Thanks

Unless the employer writes it into your contract that you have to stay for a certain length of time after ENS sponsorship DIAC don't require it although morally questionable if you get PR and then sod off.

175 is a skilled visa and has no restrictions. if applying onshore you will have to leave australia to validate.

Thanks for that answers my questions perfectly. We need to assess our future options.

I certainly wouldn't "sod off" after getting PR but equally I wouldn't want to be tied in for 2 or 3 years.
