I need to obtain a (sponsored) 457 visa as quickly as possible to fit in with notice periods over here etc. Would a migration agent help me get an application together more quickly. I really do not have lot of time on my hands. Can anyone please send me a private message recommending an expert and efficient agent who they have used? Thanks!

An agent is going to be no quicker than doing it yourself. What an agent will do is to double check that you have submitted everything properly.

Actually if any single visa is prone to DIY disasters it's the 457, mainly due to uncontrollable variations in case officer interpretation and employer eligibility. But what you've said is correct, of course.

Ah, George. I've taken off the mood ring, so no need to be nice to me anymore. I do understand that a 457 is one of the ones that DIYers mess up, but as I said it's really not quicker, only has more probability of being lodged correctly first time.

i have to say i am so glad that we did have an agent doing our visa 457,

as all we had to do was email and scan 2 hrs worth of stuff sign visa application .

4 weeks later we got our lovely email letter from a very nice lady from immi saying yes !!!

8 weeks later we arrived in perth x
