457 Granted but...

457 Granted but...
Hi guys we got the great newd today that we have our 457 visa. But just one thing. The e mail says we dont have to have it in our passports untill we get there, but this seems strange. How will they know at the airport that we have been granted? I had assumed we would have to send our passports off before we went to have a visa put in?

It's all electronic these days (well, for certain passport holders) - your visa details will be in DIAC's database, and will appear when the entry officer swipes your passport.
Having said that, you may want to carry a copy of your approval notification with you, just in case.
