189 - IELTS test required for English
Hi Just checking,
I'm completing my EOI. Do i read it correctly? Even though I hold a UK passport, have english as my first lanuage, have 'o'level english and a UK nursing degree I still need to pay $395 for IELTS to claim my 20 points.
Becoming +++ frustrated (to say the least), it's a cash cow.

Didn't you do it already for your nursing skills assessment?
Another way to get 20 points is to obtain a phd. I know which I would prefer, IELTS is an absolute gift to the native English speaker.

There's always the PhD option.
